Sierra Leonean model, entertainer, and Zedzee Multimedia CEO, Zainab Sheriff, recently shared photos and videos from her gym sessions on social media.

The “Mamie Na Power” singer and host of the annual reality TV show, Big Sister Salone was very vocal and critical of the political parties before the last general elections in Sierra Leone. In April, a video she made criticizing President Julius Maada Bio led to her arrest and detention at the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Sierra Leone police in Freetown. She was alleged to have committed offenses contrary to the Cybersecurity and Cybercrime Law of 2021.

However, following widespread calls from celebrities, attorneys, and human rights advocates, Sheriff was released on bail after two days. Since this event, her public commentary has significantly reduced.

While many continue to admire Sheriff for her branding prowess and her efforts to promote a positive image of Sierra Leone through her annual reality TV show, Big Sister Salone, there has been noticeable reticence in her recent endeavors.

Many questions have begun to emerge about whether she may be focusing on building her brand and establishing her presence online or doesn’t have the financial freedom and support needed to reorganize shows.

While we ponder on these questions, we’ll like to relish on the gym session video and photos as shared by Zainab.
