Popular Sierra Leonean artiste, actress and entrepreneur, Zainab Sheriff has in her Facebook page expressed her opinion about the misconception of being rich and the power of setting principles and having integrity.

In her words, she made mention that people who are willing to do anything for money are not coming from a poor family, they are rather coming from families with poor values. In her opinion, she believes that being rich does not only mean having assets and millions in your bank account but having good values and upholding integrity, backing up with setting principles in life.

She wrote:

Integrity has never been up for sale and will always be priceless

“There are people who are laying on beds of roses and yet their attitudes, values are not up to standard as society requires of them. With this, the actress explains what her views are on the controversies of being rich.

“The people who are willing to do anything for money are not coming from a poor family, they are rather coming from families with poor values.

Integrity has never been up for sale and will always be priceless.

As people, Integrity is what most of us lack and this is why we are failing from top to bottom and from bottom to top.

Don’t be the thief, be the victim of the thief, I know it hurts, trust me I know but by the laws of Integrity, you are still in a better place.

A thief will always be poorer, and money will never make you rich no matter how much of it you have got.

Also Not having money isn’t a good enough reason for you to feel poor.

Imagine the life that you desire, work towards it, not having money will not be able to stop you if you are determined enough, having money will not be able to help you if you are not determine, if you do not have principles and Integrity.”
