Introducing Evin Incir, the Chief Observer of the European Union Elections Observer Mission in Sierra Leone.
Evin Incir was born on June 15, 1984, in Diyabakir, Turkey. She is a Swedish politician of Kurdish descent, representing the Swedish Democratic Party, and has been a member of the European Parliament since the 2019 European Elections.
Her journey in politics began at the age of 14, growing up as a young female with an immigrant background in a suburb of Gothenburg. Additionally, she has been a member of the European Parliament’s delegations to the EU-Turkey joint Parliamentary Committee since 2019 and to the Euro-Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly since 2021.
