Our MCM goes to Francis Hinga Murray, the Public Relations Officer 2 of the Judiciary of Sierra Leone.

Murray was born to educated parents who both worked for Njala University College (NUC). His love for education and reporting pushed him through school, graduating with a Diploma with Distinction in Mass Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication (Division 1). Francis Hinga Murray became one of the few journalist who choose to report the proceedings of court and the crime around.

Francis is a very hardworking and dedicated man, even while studying. His virtue and skill placed in a good recommendation, even before graduation. With the good recommendation of a senior Lecturer at the Department, he was employed as a reporter for the Free Media Group which publishes Politico Newspaper.

His professional style of reporting on crime and justice which many Journalists today would shy away from, gained him a unique reputation in not only his office but also in judicial reporting for which he rose to the rank of Deputy Editor at Politico Newspaper.

Many people that read the tabloid then could tell of his mastery penmanship in playing with judicial jargons like a practicing lawyer.

He was assigned to Parliament and then later the Judiciary where he proclaimed as a resounding Journalist covering court proceedings. He was known for his reporting role in the popular case of Late Khadija as well as the Treason trial of Rtd Major Paolo Conteh.

Like many before him who had dedicated their life to serving the workforce of this Country, his sense of professionalism as a Mediated Communicator over the years, gives him the wit, experience and expertise in the fields of communications and the quality to provide visibility, credibility and acceptability in every facet.
