Meet with Nicholas Francis Swarray, our personality for this week.

In the grand tapestry of our community, Nicholas Francis Swarray emerges as a figure of profound impact and unwavering commitment. A civil rights activist and journalist by trade, Nicholas has also carved out a reputation as a philosopher, social engineer, and inspirational speaker. His tenure as the Head of Programs and General Station Manager for Star Line Radio and Nyapui Radio has left an indelible mark on the media landscape, and he continues to shape the future by mentoring young journalists.

Nicholas’s ardor for education is both deep-rooted and expansive. After acquiring his HTC certificate from the polytechnic and dedicating five years to teaching, he furthered his academic pursuits at Njala University, securing a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with honors. Yet, his intellectual journey did not halt there. Living by the creed that “The man who can drive himself further once the effort gets painful is the man who will win,” Nicholas is currently enrolled at Njala University, striving to add a Bachelor of Law (LLB Hons) degree to his impressive roster of qualifications. Moreover, he is on the cusp of completing his Master’s degree in Sociology with honors.

Beyond the academic realm, Nicholas is a developmentalist at heart, channeling his resilience into the founding of an organization that nurtures the relationship between landlords and tenants, where he proudly holds the position of CEO and founder. His leadership prowess extends to spiritual domains as well, having served as the Youth President of his church for over a decade, a role he has fulfilled with judicious care and dedication.
