The Ministry of Health and Sanitation (MOHS) has held a brainstorming discussion with UNICEF in relations with health matters.
They met and brainstormed on the findings of the Primary Health Care Optimization (PHCO) model which can be accessed as learning-by-doing approach.
They shared some key lessons learnt during the discussions and findings include the increased coverage in maternal and child health indicators and community participation in improving health care and behaviours.
The UNICEF is the world’s leading child rights organization and their activity in Sierra Leone is to guarantee a better quality of life for children as well as mothers in the country.
