A group of Persons With Disability (PWDs) have involved in life saving immunization campaign to help others that are vulnerable in some communities in Sierra Leone.

According to them the funding came from the World Bank through IPHAU. The services will cut across communities which may overcome barriers and promote health equity. They are working hard to achieve the effort in rolling out the importance of inclusive healthcare for all in the country with the motive to reach many vulnerable disabled individuals respectively.

In another development in the healthcare services, the doctors with Africa and Irish aid have donated thousands of Leones to a hospital in Pujehun to promote and improve nutritional status for children under five, particularly those with severe acute malnutrition.

Through the Ministry Of Health And Sanitation, it is recorded that, Sierra Leone has got a successful anthrax vaccination campaign which may safeguard livestock and rural communities as well as promote food security and reduce anthrax transmission.
