The U.S. Embassy in Freetown has announced a vacancy for the position of MCC Program Administrative Assistant to support the establishment and operations of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) office in Sierra Leone.

The successful candidate will coordinate with MCC Washington, Embassy staff, and local partners to set up the new MCC office.

Duties include assisting with budget determination, procuring housing and office equipment, managing procurement requests, maintaining filing systems, and preparing reports on Compact program activities.

Experience: Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in office management, administrative/secretarial support, or program management support.

Language: Good working knowledge of English (Level 3 – speaking, reading, writing) and Krio. English proficiency will be tested.

Job Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of business principles, document/data management systems, and office environment administration.

Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; intermediate keyboard skills.
