The Waterloo Police Station has taken custody of 13 individuals, consisting of 2 women and 11 men, who reside in various locations in and around the community.
These arrests were carried out on charges of incitement and unlawful protests, as the group was found demonstrating on major streets in Waterloo while holding placards.
Additionally, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Waterloo Division is currently interrogating Alhaji Ibrahim Sesay, the Headman of Deep-Eye Water in Waterloo. He faces allegations of incitement, conspiracy, and unlawful protest.
Alhaji Ibrahim Sesay vehemently denies the accusations leveled against him and asserts that he had no involvement in the mentioned activities.
As the investigation progresses, further updates regarding the situation are anticipated.

It is just violation of the right of the citizens,police stop this nonsense you are not politicians,what if government change and they disbanded the police then you start to say the government is not good.
They should remain under police custody until after the election. They do not want to give peace to the nation, thus, they have to be behind the bar until further notice.
Mohamed Sesay, can you please mind your words, or if you are a man enough, can you go in person and say out these Poppycock comments to the police officers, this of your political small-mindedness and discrimination should stop, were those idiots peacefully demonstrating? If you believe in yourself, call on others to come out , and see what will happen to them.
All the idiots caught rioting should be kept behind bars till after the elections for the peace of the state. The are the black sheep we have in our midst. It’s unfortunate how shallow minded they are and have allowed themselves to be used by greedy politicians who only want to feed their egos at the expense of these gullible idiots as well as at the expense of the state.
The Police are responsible to uphold law and order . If there has been wrong doing , should they not do thier job ?
This is pure violation of one’s constitutional right. They did the same to me yesterday, they came to my house and assaulted me because of my phone. The wanted to take my phone by force thank Allah i resist them.
Those idiots arrested should be severely dealt with before the forthcoming elections, for peace and unity to prevail among patriotic citizens to enjoy one of their fundamental rights.
However, this should serve as an example for those that are planning to engage in a violent act during the election or after then.
Mohamed sesay you were a kid during the war that is why you are saying it is violation of human right but anyway all those that are behind the unrest of sierra Leone shall one day face the the law as for those that are arrested should be delt with seriously
