Admira Bio Jalloh, niece to President Julius Maada Bio, and her husband were released from police custody after questioning at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) headquarters in Freetown on Thursday.

The couple’s house was searched by police following accusations of involvement in drug trafficking, particularly Kush. According to police reports, the search yielded no drug-related materials. However, a pistol was discovered on the property. Police later confirmed the pistol was licensed.

While released, authorities confiscated the couple’s phones for further investigation.

Following their release, Admira Bio Jalloh took to social media, posting a video of herself and her husband in a car with the caption “Thank God no man can curse.” This post has generated significant online discussion.
