The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat in Sierra Leone achieved a significant milestone on May 22nd, 2023, by inaugurating the Muslim Television Ahmadiyya International Sierra Leone station at their Bath Street Head office in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

This endeavor reflects their commitment to disseminate accurate and timely information about the teachings of Islam across the country.

The establishment of this television station marks a pivotal moment for the mission, as it will enable them to reach both their followers and non-followers with enriching and timely programs, even in the most remote parts of the nation.

During the ceremony, the Amir, Mr. Musa Mewa Sahib, expressed his gratitude to God Almighty for this wonderful initiative.

He also praised the World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the Fifth Khalifa, as well as the dedicated staff and team who worked tirelessly to transform this vision into a reality.

The Amir further highlighted that the station, with the Grace of Allah, has done an exceptional job in conveying the true message of Islam to audiences worldwide. Its unique content sets it apart from other broadcasters, as it serves as a means of spiritual enrichment for viewers and facilitates preaching, propagation, and moral training.

He expressed gratitude to all the partners involved and assured them of continued collaboration. The staff were encouraged to exert utmost effort in achieving their set goals.

The Administrator of MTA International Africa, Luqman Ahmed, reminisced about the station’s humble beginnings with a small team. Through commitment and dedication, remarkable progress was achieved within a short period.
