Coach Lamin Bangura’s influence extended beyond the football pitch, particularly in Kono District, where he earned admiration and respect from residents. Known for his adept management skills, Coach Bangura orchestrated marquee signings, including Badara Kella, Jaward Bindi, Kemson Fofanah, Watari, Zito, Freeman Lahai Chandus, and others, during his tenure with the Diamond Stars Football Club.
