Former Member of Parliament for the All People’s Congress (APC), Hon. Benneh Bangura, has passed away. The veteran politician reportedly died Tuesday morning at Choithrams Memorial Hospital in Freetown.

Bangura was a dedicated member of the APC, having served his constituency with unwavering commitment. His contributions to the party’s development in his district are widely recognized.

In a heartfelt tribute, APC Leader in Parliament, Abdul Kargbo, expressed deep sorrow over the loss.

“Our constituency mourns the loss of our former member of parliament, Hon. Benneh Bangura, who passed this morning at the Choithrams hospital. Hon Benneh, as commonly called, devoted countless hours to the development of our beloved party in the district. He will be truly missed,” Kargbo wrote.
