The All People’s Congress (APC) has on Friday, January 16, 2026, held a meeting with Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Alpha Sesay, and Minister of Information and Civic Education, Chernor Bah, to discuss Sierra Leone’s ongoing constitutional reforms.

The engagement focused on updates surrounding the Constitutional Amendments Bill and Resolution 4, which form part of the broader national reform agenda.

The discussions reportedly centred on clarifying key provisions of the proposed amendments, addressing concerns raised by stakeholders, and ensuring transparency in the reform process. The meeting also provided an opportunity for the APC to engage government officials on areas requiring consensus ahead of further legislative actions.

The talks are part of continuous consultations between political parties and the government aimed at strengthening democratic governance and constitutional order in Sierra Leone.
