The All People’s Congress (APC) has officially announced Bai Bureh Hall in Port Loko Township as the venue for its upcoming National Delegates Conference (NDC) scheduled for August 2026.
The announcement was made in a public notice dated 30 January 2026, issued by the National Secretariat of the APC, pursuant to Article 18(b) of the party’s 2022 Constitution.
According to the notice, the decision was taken following deliberations by the National Advisory Council (NAC) at a duly convened emergency meeting. The party stated that the NAC considered and approved a resolution on the venue for the conduct of the National Delegates Conference.
The APC explained that the process complied with Article 18(b) of its constitution, which mandates the National Secretary General to send or publish notice convening the conference at least six months before the due date, clearly stating the date and venue of the conference.
The notice further stated that several venues were proposed and thoroughly deliberated upon by the NAC. Following extensive discussions, a formal voting process was conducted, and the votes were duly counted.
“At the conclusion of the process, Bai Bureh Hall, Port Loko Township, emerged as the venue that secured the highest number of votes,” the APC said in the public notice.
Based on the resolution passed by the National Advisory Council, the APC National Secretariat formally declared that the National Delegates Conference will be held from 9 to 12 August 2026 at Bai Bureh Hall in Port Loko Township, Port Loko District.
The party said the public notice was issued to ensure transparency, constitutional compliance, and to duly inform all party structures, stakeholders, and the general public of the decision.
