A tragic road accident at Pehtifunk has claimed the life of an unidentified young man, believed to be from Port Loko, leaving residents shocked and grieving.
According to photos and audio messages circulating on social media, the deceased was an apprentice attached to a palm kernel transport vehicle.
A witness explained in the audio that the young man was giving directions to the driver to guide the movement of the vehicle when the unfortunate incident occurred. In the process, the vehicle reportedly struck him, causing a severe head injury that led to his instant death.
