A young man identified as Mohamed Jamil Kamara has reportedly died during a 2.5km fitness run training exercise in Makeni, Northern Sierra Leone.
The report stated that Kamara is an applicant in the ongoing cadet program of the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces, where he met his early death at the 4th Infantry Brigade in Makeni after collapsing during a 2.5km fitness test, which was part of a training exercise.
Kamara was a graduate of the School of Nursing at Njala University, graduating in December 2025.
He is known by many as humble, quiet, and respectful.
