Former Minister of Social Welfare, Gender, and Children’s Affairs, Mustapha Bai Atilla, has been accused of domestic violence against his wife, Monica Yenni Galiwa.

Monica, known as the second runner-up in AYV Housemates Salone, recently gave birth to twins less than a month ago.

According to social media reports, Monica had been confined within their residence, which was heavily guarded by security personnel, allegedly at the orders of her husband. The situation has sparked widespread concern, as Monica’s friends and family feared for her safety and that of her newborns.

In response, Minister Mahoi and law enforcement authorities acted swiftly to address the situation. Early this morning, the police conducted a successful operation, ensuring that Monica and her babies were safely removed from the house. Minister Mahoi commended the police force for their prompt and professional handling of the situation, ensuring the safety of Monica and her children.

The allegations against Mr. Kamara have shocked the public, given his former role as a champion for social welfare and children’s rights.
