Dr. Amara Stevens Ngegbai, the Bo District Medical Officer (DMO), pledged his unwavering commitment to fortify the Police medical facility during a courtesy visit to the Regional Police Commander South, AIG Brima Kanneh, on Monday, September 25th, 2023.

Despite recent renovations under the leadership of Inspector General of Police William Fayia Sellu, the Police hospital faces challenges with shortage of essential medications and certain vital medical equipment. Dr. Ngegbai’s visit brought a glimmer of hope to address these pressing needs.

The Bo DMO commended AIG Kanneh for his unrelenting efforts in curbing crime in the Southern Region, particularly within the city of Bo. He expressed his admiration for AIG Kanneh’s leadership, stating, “I am prepared to extend my support by providing crucial medications and necessary equipment to elevate the standards of your medical facility.”
