Renowned Sierra Leonean footballer Mohamed Buya Turay has found himself at the center of controversy following accusations from one of his children’s mothers in Sweden regarding unpaid child support.
The dispute erupted publicly under a New Year’s post Turay shared on social media, sparking a heated exchange.
The woman, who is the mother of Turay’s daughter Leoni, accused him of failing to fulfill his financial obligations, claiming he has not provided child support for months.
In her comment, she called out Turay, stating, “Why you have bad years behind you is because karma has been punching you.” She went on to demand that he take responsibility for his daughter in 2025.
In response, Turay fired back, calling her a “clown” and defending himself against the allegations.
