Chernor Moseray, a youth activist and ambassador, has shared his reasons for celebrating his graduation with underprivileged women at Cotten Tree in Freetown. Instead of throwing a party, he provided them with food as a way of showing respect for the less fortunate.
In an interview with Sierra Fox Media, Chernor explained that, as a human rights activist, he felt it was important to give back to his community.
Moseray, who recently earned a BSc in Business Administration from the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), also revealed that he lost his mother in April, the same month he graduated.
In light of his grief, he believed that celebrating with a party would not bring him happiness. Hence, he chose to honor his mother’s memory in a more meaningful way.
