According to a report by the popular Facebook blog page Salone Gossip Reloaded, a family member of Onie claims they were informed by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) that all individuals in custody related to Onie’s case are allegedly set to be released on bail.
The decision purportedly follows an order from the new Chief Justice, Komba Kamanda, due to insufficient evidence to hold them.
The report alleges that the evidence, including numerous voice notes collected, has not been thoroughly reviewed. This development has sparked controversy, particularly because the new Chief Justice is a member of the same fraternity implicated in the case and is seen wearing the fraternity’s costume in video shared by Salone gossip.
