Popular hip-hop artist and peace ambassador Boss La has publicly blasted Anti-Corruption Commissioner Francis Ben Kaifala over his recent offer of free tickets to members of the RFM crew for the upcoming Star Zee show.
In a social media post, Boss La took issue with Kaifala’s gesture, accusing him of misusing funds. He wrote:
“We nor need corrupt money for ticket, use am go pay for da house wae u make fake receipt for.”
The controversy stems from Kaifala’s post, where he pledged to sponsor tickets for various groups attending the event at the Radisson Blu Hotel. His post read:
*”Yo Star Zee, please keep my place with the Ladies tomorrow at Radison (don’t want VIP😉), I will be there to put up the lighter and let there be ‘fire fire fire’ at Radison.
20 free tickets on me for 20 ladies
20 free tickets for Black Leo Sojas
10 free tickets for RFM crew members 😉
Francis Turay will determine criteria and give out to the 30 persons I will pay for to come join us shake the place ‘around Ya’😍”*
The Commissioner jokingly responded in the comment section, saying:
“Bo King Boss La, na me en you get for don di game na Ladies Fest Star Zee.
You know say we don komot far, me en you. Tell dem!
This follows a recent controversy involving the ACC Commissioner, who is a big fan of Kao Denero—Boss La’s direct rival in the music industry. The Commissioner previously made a social media post referring to Kao as the ‘King of Hip Hop,’ with Boss La’s picture in the background.
The exchange has sparked debates on social media, with some fans branding Boss La’s response as disrespectful, while others support him, arguing that he did nothing wrong.”
