The Media Unit of the Sierra Leone police has announced that the deputy head teacher of D.E.C Primary School and Five others have been arrested with Kush in Kabala.

The reported that, this was due to intense surveillance and raids conducted by the Operations Team of Kabala Division that have been heightened in the fight against Kush.

They maintained that, one Poreh Sesay was arrested at Bilmaia New Site with 544 wraps of ‘kush’ and Kumba Lakoh was arrested with 68 wraps of cannabis sativa, 83 wraps of ‘Kush’ and a sum of four thousand one hundred sixty-six Leones (Le 4,166) as proceeds from the narcotic sales.

All suspects including the Deputy Head teacher were refused bail at the Kabala Magistrate’s Court on Monday 29th April 2024.
