On Tuesday, December 10, 2024, Bo District witnessed an inspiring milestone as the General Overseer of New Harvest Ministry Sierra Leone, Reverend Dr. Shodankay Johnson, described the official opening of Every Nation College’s new campus as the realization of a long-held dream.

The inauguration ceremony, held at the newly constructed campus in Tikonko Chiefdom on the outskirts of Bo, brought together students, educators, community leaders, and representatives of the Christ Christian Community, whose support was instrumental in making the project a reality.

In his address, Dr. Johnson reflected on the journey that led to the establishment of the new campus, emphasizing the challenges, prayers, and unwavering determination that paved the way for its success.

“This campus represents more than just bricks and mortar; it embodies a vision that God placed in our hearts many years ago—a vision to empower young people through quality education and strong values,” he said.

Dr. Johnson shared a personal testimony, recounting his time as the college’s first principal, during which he worked without a salary. He highlighted how he supported the lecturers, who also served without pay, through prayer.

“They would come to my office each month, kneel down, and we would pray together instead of receiving salaries. God never let us down,” he said.

Reverend Johnson explained that the new campus was designed to provide a holistic education, blending academic excellence with moral and spiritual development.

He expressed profound gratitude to the Christ Christian Community for their generous contributions, which played a crucial role in realizing the project.

“This is a dream come true—not just for New Harvest Ministry, but for the entire nation,” he added. “We believe this institution will nurture future leaders who will positively transform their families, communities, and the country at large.”

The Paramount Chief of Tikonko Chiefdom, Joe Kangbai Mackavory, commended Reverend Johnson’s efforts and honored him with a special title in recognition of his work.

“He has done a truly honorable job,” the Chief said, urging others to emulate Reverend Johnson’s dedication to development.

The principal of Every Nation College, Christian Johnson, spoke about the campus’s state-of-the-art facilities, which include advanced classrooms, laboratories, internet access, a library, modern furniture, and recreational spaces.

“The Every Nation College is ready to move to the next level as the first Christian private college in the South,” he stated, adding that the campus will commence operations in January.

The ceremony concluded with a ribbon-cutting, a tour of the campus, and a collective prayer for the institution’s success.
