The High Court of sierra Leone has issued a second bench warrant for Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray and his surety, Isha Baby Mansaray, following their repeated failure to appear in court.

This development comes after the Court of Appeal had previously issued a bench warrant for both individuals due to their non-compliance with a court directive.

Kamarainba, who is appealing his conviction, was required to appear before the appellate judges for further proceedings. However, his continued absence has led to intensified legal measures.

As his surety, Isha Baby Mansaray, of No. 7 Tucker Drive, Majay Town, had a legal duty to ensure his presence in court. Her failure to do so has now resulted in legal consequences, as sureties are held accountable for the individuals they vouch for.

The bench warrant authorizes law enforcement agencies to locate, arrest, and present Kamarainba and his surety before the court. The judiciary remains firm in ensuring that court orders are respected and that justice is upheld.
