The Minister of Health and Sanitation, Austin Demby has disclosed that the Government of Sierra Leone is set to construct a 450 million USD Ultramodern Hospital in Kafu Bullom and Lokomasama chiefdoms in Port Loko district, Northern part of Sierra Leone.

The joint inspection was done together with the Minister of Lands, Turad Senesie and the Paramount Chiefs of Kafu Bullom and Lokomassama into the 35acre site projected for the construction of the Ultramodern Hospital that will be a centre of medical excellence for the country.

The project is said to be valued at $50 million dollars.

The news was positively received by Sierra Leoneans who commended the strives being made by the health minister and the central government in making sure that the country’s health sector is boosted enough to help safe lives of citizens.
