Life Care Hospital has set the record straight over controversies surrounding the death of Sierra Leonean Actress, TV Host, and Entertainer, Henrietta Mbawah at their facility in Freetown on 17 February 2023 at around 10 pm.

There are rumors of negligence by Life Care Hospital staff in handling the actress that was reportedly taken to their facility for toothache problems.

Reacting to the rumors, Life Care hospital stated, “It is important to note that this patient was transferred to our hospital from another healthcare facility in unstable condition on 16th February 2023 where we did everything in our power to provide the best medical care possible to her, but unfortunately, she passed away on 17th February 2023.”

The hospital stated that they take patient confidentiality and privacy extremely seriously and as such, they cannot disclose any further details about the patient’s medical condition. They However, confirm that they did their utmost to provide the best medical service and care to her.

“We would like to assure the public that our hospital will continue to strive towards excellence in providing medical services to all the people of Sierra Leone,” Life Care stated.

“Once again, our thoughts and sympathies go out to the family and loved ones during this difficult time.”
