For the past seven years, since it was founded, International Islamic Academy, a private Islamic school in Freetown, has been producing excellent results in national examinations and this year is not an exception.
The school is among the top schools with the best BECE results for this year, with 99% of passes.
According to the School’s report, the International Islamic Academy class of 2022 BECE students performed extremely well as all except one absentee, scored below aggregate 12.
The first person scored an average score of aggregate 08 and the last person got aggregate 11.
Ten students got Aggregate 08, ten students aswell got Aggregate 09, eleven students got Aggregate 10, Four students with Aggregate 11 and one Absentee.
The International Islamic Academy was founded in 2014 by the renowned organization- The Islamic Center for Education, Dawah and Research, freetown.
The School focuses on both the Secular Education and the Islamic studies which has over the years helped the students to perform well and at the same time become better and practicing Muslims.
Together with the English subjects, including computer clases, they offer 7 Islamic subjects which includes arabic, hadith, Quran, fiqh, conversation, etc.
It has two main campuses; (the primary and Secondary, and Senior Secondary) and both are performing very well.
In 2017, the International Islamic Academy came out victorious in the Basic Education Certificate Examination 2017 ranking as the 2nd position in the country.
And in 2021, the school was ranked 6 positions in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination by the Sierra Leone Ministry of Technical and Higher Education.
