The winner of last year’s National Quranic Competition organized by the Foundation of Islamic Information SL LTD (FOISIL), Abdulai Sidik Jalloh will represent Sierra Leone in the Dubai International Memorisation Competition on Friday 31 March 2023.

Jalloh will compete together with participants from Ivory Coast, Thailand, Kuwait, Tanzania, and Mauritius.

Jalloh will make his first appearance for Sierra Leone in the Arab nation two days before the 9th edition of the Quranic Memorisation Competition this Sunday at the Fourah Bay College AmphitheaThe winner

Winner of the competition will represent Sierra Leone in the next year’s Dubai International Quranic Competition.

The winner of last year’s competition was won by 13-year-old Moroccan, Doha. The competition is the most competitive Quranic competition in the world attracting over 45 countries and over 600 reciters every year.
