Popular Sierra Leonean musician and Entertainment Ambassador, Kao Denero, has refuted claims of a bench warrant for his arrest, calling the allegations baseless and the product of desperate negativity from Bloggers.
In a recent statement, Kao Denero expressed frustration with what he described as the “senseless energy” involved in spreading misinformation. He highlighted the effort needed to verify facts and condemned the circulation of false information to the public by what he referred to as “desperate and thirsty hate-filled bloggers.”
The controversy arose after Kao Denero reportedly failed to appear in court as scheduled to address charges related to alleged incitement and aggravated assault, following an altercation involving fellow artist Famous and his team.
While a bench warrant for his arrest was reported, Kao Denero strongly denied its existence, labeling it nothing more than a fabrication. He emphasized that there is no legal basis for the issuance of such a warrant against him.
The musician, was reportedly due to appear in front of the Magistrate Court to address the accusations brought against him. Those include charges of incitement and alleged orchestration of a violent attack, issues that have been at the center of ongoing legal proceedings.
In his rebuttal, Kao Denero affirmed the importance of accurate information dissemination and stood firm in his denial of any warrant for his arrest.
