The Koidu New Sembehun City Council conducted its first Saturday cleaning exercise on October 5, 2024, as part of its ongoing flood mitigation efforts.

The exercise was made possible with support from the central government’s Grant for Solid Waste Management, which provided the necessary resources for waste disposal and environmental protection.
