Emmanuel Christian Aiah Sam, Chairman of the Kono Fun Fest, has allocated startup funds to six dance teams participating in the upcoming Cultural Dancing Competition. Scheduled for November 15, 2024, at the Opera Cinema Hall, this event marks the first day of the much-anticipated festival.

The funding meeting included the Chief Executive Officers of the six participating teams: Top-Ranking Dancers, Unbelievable Dancers, Expandable Legendary Dancers, Real Talented Dancers, Intelligent Dancers, and Champion Dancers.

During his opening remarks, Sam emphasized the importance of fostering local talent, stating, “As part of our mission to promote local talent, we are supporting six dance teams in Kono ahead of the upcoming Cultural Dancing Competition. A total of six thousand new Leones has been allocated as a prize for the competition winners, which will help each team prepare to showcase their talent.”

The CEO of the Kono Dancing Union expressed gratitude to the organizers for their commitment to supporting local artists. He acknowledged the startup funds as a crucial step in enabling the teams to display their skills and creativity.

Following the Cultural Dancing Competition, the festivities will continue on November 17, 2024, at Average Pool, featuring a vibrant array of activities including a Bubu Dance, a Fashion Runway, and a Musical Concert.

The fashion runway will highlight guest entertainers such as the Mister Tourism World 1st Runner-Up, Miss Kono 2023, Miss Earth 2023, and the reigning Mr. IPAM 2024.
