On Tuesday, April 25th, and Wednesday, April 26th, respectively, the Second Chance Foundation, owned by popular entertainment journalist, Prezo Koromo, secured the release of Aiah Gbondo and Hassan Mustapha Kamara from the Male Correctional Centre in Freetown.
The CEO of Kings Empire, Valentine Mark King (popularly known as CEO Val), supported the Foundation in securing their release.
Although their prison sentence had ended the previous week, Aiah Gbondo and Hassan Mustapha Kamara were required to pay a court fine before being released. After contacting CEO Val, he promptly covered the cost of their fines.
According to Prezo Koroma, it is evident from their physical appearance that both individuals have faced immense hardships while incarcerated at the Pademba Road Prison and require urgent medical attention.
“We urge all Sierra Leoneans to support the Foundation as we continue to address numerous cases,” he said.
