Police are investigating the alleged killing of a Lebanese businessman, Salim Alie Dayeck, in the early hours of Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at his residence along Hangha Road, Kenema.

According to Sub-Inspector Brima James Musa, the police have a suspect in custody who is assisting with the investigation. However, Musa did not confirm rumors circulating that the victim was killed by one of his employees. “We are still investigating the matter,” he stated, urging the public to avoid speculation until the facts are fully established.

This incident marks the second alleged murder in Kenema within a month, raising concerns about security in the area. Authorities have assured residents that investigations will continue and further details will be made available as the case progresses.
