A local farmer has been brutally murdered by a thief in a forest at Falawandor, Kamboma Village, in Kono District, allegedly over the theft of cacao beans in the morning hours of Monday, June 30, 2025.
Sources reported that the attack occurred in the early hours when the local farmer was tending to his crops.

Neither the identity of the deceased nor the alleged killer has been disclosed as police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the murder.
Is not Kono district but kenema I know the village well
Please the incident took place in Kenema District not Kono.
The village is Kamboma, found in the Wandor Chiefdom.
There is also other village called Kamboma, in Lower Bambara chiefdom. Please clarify better. Many thanks.
This is misleading, it most be edited as quick is possible, coz the right location is not been capture, the ABC in this story had been missing.
The killing took place in Kenema, not in Kono district.
