Leone Rock Metal Group (LRMG), as part of its ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), has provided financial support amounting to NLe 91,500 to complete the construction of a Community Center in Bombuhun Village, Kailahun District.
This initiative aligns with LRMG’s focus on supporting technological and infrastructural development within local communities.
Once completed, the Community Center will serve as a vital space for local gatherings, social events, educational programs, and community meetings.
It will provide the residents of Bombuhun Village with a much-needed venue to foster social cohesion and promote cultural activities, offering a central location where community members can come together to discuss issues affecting their lives.
During the official presentation of the financial support, Mr. Eric Boda, a civil engineer at LRMG, emphasized the company’s dedication to supporting local communities.
“At LRMG, our goal is not only to focus on mining operations but also to invest in the sustainable development of communities. We believe in the power of collaboration, and we hope this center will become a hub for unity and progress,” he stated.
Chief Samie Boa, the Chiefdom Spokesman, and Mr. Lahai Ghaliwa, the project coordinator, expressed their deep gratitude for LRMG’s intervention, recognizing the company’s continuous efforts to address the needs of the people.
On behalf of the community, the Chiefdom Speaker thanked LRMG for its generosity and support. “This Community Center will be a lasting legacy. We are grateful to LRMG for stepping in to provide the necessary funds to complete it. It will benefit not only the current generation but also generations to come,” he remarked.
