A 22-year-old Sheriff Kargbo residing at Bormeh Dumpsite along the Freetown-Waterloo highway has been arrested by police after he was allegedly caught destroying the newly-erected Sierra Leone Police tents at Tombo junction, Waterloo.

The accused Sheriff Kargbo is in detention at the Waterloo Police Station for further investigations.

The accused while in police custody has taken responsibility for his action and is willing to pay the consequences.

“I have no relevant excuse for my action. I am willing to pay for the damaged Police tent,” he said.
