The Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE), in collaboration with the Teaching Service Commission (TSC), has announced the commencement of a nationwide teacher registration exercise, set to begin on March 24, 2025.

The process will span ten days, concluding on April 2, 2025.

This mandatory registration is open to all educators currently engaged in classroom instruction, including those on the government payroll (pincoded teachers), community teachers, volunteer educators, private school teachers, and any other individuals actively teaching in schools.

The initiative aims to establish a comprehensive and up-to-date database of teachers across the country. By ensuring proper documentation, the exercise is expected to enhance teacher management, streamline service delivery, and improve overall efficiency within the education sector.

Teachers are urged to take part in the registration process within the stipulated timeframe to avoid any disruptions to their professional standing.
