As this year’s annual school sporting activities unfold in Pejehun district, the Deputy Director in the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary School Education in Pejehun district has strictly cautioned school pupils to avoid violence that can undermine national security during the sporting activities.

Alimamy Kamara made the statement during the official commencement of this year’s inter-house sports meets of Saint Stephen Technical vocational secondary school Gobaru Town Kpanga Krim Chiefdom Pujehun district.

He urged teachers to be more vigilant during this period by monitoring the pupils and other stakeholders till the end of the events.

Mr. Kamara further assured all and sundry that as a ministry they will continue to render the best service in the education system.

The Deputy Director of Education Pujehun District also inspired all present about Minister David Moinina Sengeh achievement. A native of Pujehun district who recently won the world’s best Minister Award for his immense contributions to the promotion of education in the country and the world as a whole.
