Young officials of the Republic of Sierra Leone Military Forces have been captured on a video engaging in rice Production at an undisclosed farmland believed to be in the suburbs of the country.

The video showed the Military Officials in action at the green farmland with a golden-yellow sheen, harvesting rough rice with hulls and storing them in rice bags.

The video sparked reactions from Sierra Leoneans as some suggests that the Officials might be answering to President Bio’s call for food security by venturing into rice farming.

Many saw the act as a good venture and a bid to increasing rice production in the country, thereby securing the nation food independence.
