The Deputy Minister of Transport and Aviation, Rex Bhonapha, officially inaugurated a newly installed pedestrian overpass at Jui Junction today.
This significant development aims to enhance the free flow of vehicular traffic and prioritize pedestrian safety at the busy intersection.
During the unveiling ceremony, Deputy Minister Bhonapha emphasized the importance of the overpass in reducing traffic congestion and preventing accidents involving pedestrians.
He called on law enforcement officers stationed at Jui Junction to ensure that pedestrians adhere to the correct use of the facility.
“I urge everyone, particularly pedestrians and traders in the Jui community, to utilize this overpass for its intended purpose,” Bhonapha stated. “Your cooperation is essential in making this initiative successful and in safeguarding lives.”
