The Minister of Youth Affairs, Hon. Ibrahim Sannoh, has called on District Youth Officers nationwide to remain disciplined, committed, and steadfast in their roles as key drivers of youth development and national progress.
Addressing the officers during a nationwide engagement, Minister Sannoh highlighted the strategic importance of District Youth Officers in translating government youth policies into tangible results at the grassroots level.
He urged them to uphold professionalism, integrity, and patriotism, stressing that the future of Sierra Leone’s youth depends on their dedication and leadership.
The Minister also encouraged stronger collaboration between District Youth Officers, local authorities, and community stakeholders to ensure inclusive and sustainable youth empowerment initiatives.
He reassured the officers of the Ministry’s support in providing guidance and policy direction to enhance service delivery across the country.
This meeting is part of the Ministry of Youth Affairs’ ongoing efforts to revitalize youth sector governance and promote a culture of national service, accountability, and results-oriented leadership among public youth institutions.
