Chief Ernest B. Ndomahina, former Ambassador to China and current Commissioner of the National Commission for Social Action (NacSA), hosted a significant meeting at his home in Taiama Kori Chiefdom, Moyamba District on Saturday afternoon, 5th Jul 2025.
The gathering brought together a diverse group of chiefdom authorities, including Chief Rev. Sorie Kamanda, the Chiefdom Speaker, section chiefs, youth leaders, and community representatives.
Starting at around 4:30 PM, the meeting aimed to address pressing issues affecting the community, such as theft, lawlessness, and drug abuse. Chief Ndomahina emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to combat these challenges.
Youth leader Mr. Lansana A. Fofanah pledged his commitment to work alongside the Commissioner in addressing these negative trends, highlighting the need for unity among the youth.
Rev. Sorie Kamanda commended Commissioner Ndomahina for his unwavering support and developmental initiatives in Taiama and the broader chiefdom. His acknowledgement underscored the positive impact of the Commissioner’s efforts on community growth and stability.
Additionally, the women’s representative, Umu Fofanah, made a heartfelt plea for microfinance support to empower women in the chiefdom. This request reflects the community’s desire for sustainable development and economic opportunities.

The meeting, though brief, was pivotal in reinforcing community bonds and setting a proactive agenda for the chiefdom’s future. Chief Ndomahina’s leadership continues to foster collaboration and drive positive change within Taiama Kori Chiefdom.
