The National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre (NC3) on Thursday, July 3, 2025, held a high-level cybersecurity training session for senior public and civil servants at the Civil Service Training College Hall in Freetown.
The session aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of digital governance and equip them with strategies to effectively mitigate cyber threats.
The training featured expert-led sessions on key topics, including E-Governance and Digital Strategy presented by Mr. Victor Sesay, Cybercrime Laws in Sierra Leone delivered by Madam Lucy Allieu, and Cyber Hygiene and Threat Mitigation for Civil Service Stakeholders facilitated by Mrs. Gemma Pyne-Bailey from NC3.
Through these sessions, participants gained crucial insights and practical skills to strengthen cybersecurity measures and improve the delivery of public services in an increasingly digital environment.
NC3 reaffirmed its commitment to building Sierra Leone’s cybersecurity resilience by continuously supporting capacity development and awareness across public institutions.
