The Kissy Police Division has made a significant arrest in connection with the theft of electrical cables.
The suspect, identified as Gibrilla Conteh, an okada rider, was apprehended for his alleged involvement in the theft of electrical cables belonging to Mr. Osman. The arrest occurred at 4:30 AM at the Shell Old Road checkpoint.
According to Johnny Paul from the Kissy Division, while Gibrilla Conteh was arrested, other suspects involved in the operation fled the scene when confronted by the police. Conteh is currently in police custody and is assisting with further investigations.
Johnny Paul, known for his close collaboration with the Local Unit Commander (LUC) and local communities in tackling criminal activities, played a key role in this successful operation.
