The triage unit, a vital area within the hospital where initial patient assessments occur to determine treatment urgency and necessary care, was entirely submerged.

A video footage captured the extent of the flooding, with eyewitnesses confirming that water from various streets in the vicinity contributed to the inundation.

Being a prominent government-owned healthcare facility, Connaught Hospital plays a crucial role in providing care to numerous patients, serving as a primary referral hospital in the country.
