Upon receipt of the incident, some bike riders who became angry joined the fray and are also alleged to have deposited stones and other materials into the house of the two Lebanese businessmen for undoing the work done by Pavifort.
A police officer who had earlier arrived at the scene during the initial attack on Pavifort officials made two arrests and taken to the police for further investigation. The two senior company officials were taken to the government hospital for treatment before statements were obtained from them.
The matter witnessed another twist when the two business persons later went to the criminal investigation department to report an alleged attack on their premises by Pavifort workers whom they claimed catered away with several items in the house.
