The Sierra Leone Police (SLP) have arrested eight young men in Waterloo on suspicion of Large Scale of Cannabis Sativa stashed in drums.

In a raid Conducted by the Waterloo Division Operation Response Team, 8 youths from 3 different communities (York Road, Benguema Area, and Kerry Town) who had stored large quantities of dried leaves reasonably suspected to be Cannabis sativa stashed in rubber drum/barrel were arrested by the waterloo police division.

According to his DSP Septimus Siaka Vandi, Operations Officer for the Waterloo Division, “This is the biggest drug arrest of my time as Operations Officer at Waterloo.”
