On Wednesday, 12th June 2024, police personnel stationed at the Mange checkpoint intercepted two young men in possession of a brand-new Toyota 4Runner Limited, suspected to have been stolen. Acting on intelligence, the officers promptly arrested the two suspects.
Following the arrest, the vehicle and the suspects were escorted to the Port Loko Division for a thorough investigation. The authorities are diligently working to uncover the circumstances surrounding the possession of the vehicle and determine if it was indeed stolen.
In a new development, an individual has come forward claiming ownership of the Toyota 4Runner. This claim is currently under investigation as part of the ongoing efforts to resolve the case.
